1. Introduction

Welcome to Back2Basics Lab (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.back2basics.engineering, our desktop applications including the B2B Lab LMS Client and B2B Lab LMS Downloader, and all other digital services, content, and virtual environments made available through our platform.

By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Definitions

• Website: Refers to www.back2basics.engineering.
• Client Application: Refers to the B2B Lab LMS Client installed on a Windows system for consuming course content.
• Downloader: Refers to the B2B Lab LMS Downloader used to obtain large virtual machine images.
• Virtual Machine (VM): A downloadable Windows 11 image containing licensed educational software tools.
• User: Any individual accessing or using our services, whether registered or not.

3. Account Creation and Eligibility

• All information provided during registration, including KYC details, must be accurate and complete.
• We reserve the right to verify user identity and suspend accounts providing false information.
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account.

4. Course Structure and Progression

Our flagship program, for all the Courses, is divided into four levels: Free, Novice, Competent, and Expert.

• The Free level provides access to selected events only.
• Each higher level requires completion of all assessments from the preceding level.
• Access to paid levels is conditional on successful payment confirmation and system validation.

5. Learning Material and Content Ownership

All videos, documents, PDFs, assessment questions, course structures, and tools available through the platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Back2Basics Lab and its licensors.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for personal educational purposes only.
• You may not share, copy, record, redistribute, or sell any course materials or software.
• Violation of content use restrictions may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

6. B2B Lab LMS Client and Downloader Usage

The B2B Lab LMS Client provides offline and online access to course content, assessments, and feedback. The B2B Lab LMS Downloader is used to download large files, such as the virtual machine image.

• Both tools are proprietary software distributed under license from Back2Basics Lab.
• Users must not modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to manipulate the applications or their services.
• Access is validated online periodically to maintain license integrity.

7. Virtual Machine (VM) Access and Licensing

Certain course levels provide access to a pre-configured Virtual Machine (VM) containing Windows 11 and licensed educational software such as Altium Designer, ActCAD, SolidWorks, LP Calculator, and Kutools.

• VM access is strictly limited to the active course duration.
• The VM is automatically locked or disabled upon course completion or account expiry.
• The VM must be run only using Oracle VirtualBox or other authorized hypervisors.
• Extraction, cloning, or continued use of installed software after course completion constitutes a breach of software license agreements.
• Back2Basics Lab reserves the right to monitor usage logs for compliance.

8. Payments and Fees

• All payments for course enrollment, extensions (grace periods), and services are to be made through the official payment gateways integrated on the website.
• Once payment is processed and access granted, all fees are non-refundable, as digital access begins immediately.
• Invoices and receipts are sent via email upon successful payment.
• Users are responsible for ensuring sufficient account balance and stable internet during transactions.

9. Assessment and Evaluation

Assessments may include multiple-choice questions, true/false questions, essays, and file uploads generated using software inside the VM environment.

• All submitted work must be your original effort.
• Manual evaluation of assessments is performed by Back2Basics staff.
• Feedback and grades are communicated through the B2B Lab LMS Client.
• Use of unauthorized assistance, or file tampering will result in disqualification and potential account termination.

10. Certificates and Verification

• Certificates of completion are issued digitally upon successful completion of each level.
• Each certificate includes a unique authenticity identifier and barcode linking to the verification page on our website.
• Unauthorized duplication, alteration, or misuse of certificates is a legal violation and may be prosecuted.

11. System Monitoring and Security

We employ technical and procedural measures to ensure the integrity of course access and prevent unauthorized duplication of materials. Our applications may perform limited local verification checks or license validation during use.

• By using our tools, you consent to basic system-level verification to ensure compliance.
• Collected data (logs, session info) is handled per our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination of Access

We may suspend or permanently terminate access to our services under the following conditions:

• Breach of these Terms or our Privacy Policy
• Unauthorized sharing of course materials or credentials
• Misuse of licensed software within the virtual machine
• Failure to comply with payment or KYC requirements

No refunds will be issued upon termination due to violation of policies.

13. Limitation of Liability

Back2Basics Lab provides services “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to user error or hardware/software malfunction
• Internet connectivity issues affecting downloads or course access
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Back2Basics Lab, its employees, and licensors from any claim or demand arising from your misuse of our services or breach of these Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tamil Nadu.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
